Panasonic’s Blu-Ray with Skype Now

Panasonic has just announced their new VIERA CAST Blu-ray players will have the opportunity to voice and video calls through Skype. Simply press the dedicated Skype button on the remote to start Skype. That’s it. Video and voice calls requires a supported webcam of course, one that works with VIERA Cast Blu-ray player.

Using Skype on the VIERA CAST also gives you access to the standby mode you can customize with different ringtones, when your reply so you can add a personal voice message to your call progress and the ability to record messages left on an SD card like on HP Photosmart eStation.
