Zune HD Video MP3 Player Review
The first thing you (and everyone) will notice is how incredibly sexy the Zune HD is. The slim casing and large, glossy touchscreen are one of a kind features of the Zune HD. The body is brushed metal with plastic rim. The screen is a 3.3-inch OLED display. Below the screen is a glimpse of a home button. The back of this device has a slight curve on the sides. The bottom of the unit contains the Zune adapter port and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. Opposite that, on top of the device, is a hidden power button. On the left there is the Media button. This button allows you to bring the media navigation. Get options for back / forward and volume.
Inside, the Zune HD is the Tegra APX 2600. This chip has a focus on HD video and complex graphics performance. The Zune will be able to HD graphics intense games including 3D games to treat. The 65nm Zune HD contains an enormous eight cores. The Zune comes in HD 16GB and 32GB capacities in a range of colors with art and engraving and a Zune Pass for sale, this is the device of the century. The Zune HD is a vibrant 480 x 272 OLED screen, and handles input including multitouch gesture support.
The Zune’s HD display is incredibly responsive and very soon feel like an iPod touch or iPhone. There is one disadvantage of the OLED screen (or screen, Apple or Microsoft) is the lack of performance in direct sunlight. The Zune has a new HD user interface. The UI of the Zune HD is just as sexy looking as the player itself. Like most touchscreen devices, the Zune offers an HD screen with lock require a swipe to unlock. You are also able to swipe to the right, your “pinned” media, current selections, and the latest content you’ve added to your device. A left-swipe takes you back to the main menu.
One of the biggest problems swirling around the launch of the Zune app HD is the question. Because nearly every corner of the Zune HD looks like an iPod Touch competitor, applications are the next step. At the moment, the Zune is low on HD apps. The Zune Marketplace is not no third party support, but it is on the road. It took Apple 10 months for a Facebook application and 10 months for 3rd party support. On the Zune HD you can download a free calculator, weather app, twitter app, and a handful of games for the Zune HD. My favorite application is music quiz. This application is super addictive. There are a number of applications and games on the Internet that people have developed. Until now, no apps have unlocked the Tegra beast. These include apps are very addictive and a special part of the Zune HD.
Subsequently, the web browser. The browser is built on the existing mobile Internet Explorer, but tweaked. The browser loads pages well, and makes use of pinch zooming beautiful. Unfortunately there are no options and no history tab. Forget YouTube or Flash-based websites as well. This will not work until an app is. On the positive side, the included on-screen keyboard is surprisingly accurate.
Zune players have always been known for their exorbitant HD audio and the Zune is no exception. Image quality on the Zune itself is perfectly crisp. At the time the Zune HD is limited to certain types of videos, but includes Avi Dvix and support.
Microsoft provides a number of necessary changes to the Zune software. At the Zune Marketplace 3.0, there were some bugs that the software crashed sometimes. Zune 4.0 solved these problems. Total software is even faster than the 3.0 software. The new Quickplay screen is basically the same as on the device. Synchronizing content was smooth. It syncs faster than any other Apple or Zune device. The software is similar, but almost all of the glitches were worked out.
On the internet you will find many changes for the Zune HD (and all other Zunes). One of the changes in the interent for the Zune to use instead of Windows Media Player from the Zune software.
Many reasons to buy a Zune than an iTouch HD it’s gorgeous screen, crisp HD radio, slick design, and (currently not very good) web browser. Oh, and you did a great bragging to say that you are a one of a kind of special device itself that no one else you know.
One great thing that Microsoft is that Apple is not the only “Zune Pass”. The Zune Pass costs $ 14.99 per month, and with this principle, you can enjoy all the music you can find in the Zune Marketplace. With this you can keep ten tracks for free each month to 120 songs free to keep for one year.
The Zune is an excellent HD media player with a lot of great features, and just missing something in the app department. But Microsoft and Zune, which is “One small step for mankind, one giant leap for the technology”.
