Samsung BD-C7500 Review
The Samsung BD-C7500 is the focal point of the new line of Blu-ray player from Korean electronics giant Samsung. Samsung advertises it as the world’s thinnest Blu-ray player LBT CES 2010 Innovations Honoree in the Video Components product category. Under his breathtakingly beautiful “nature inspired” exterior, the C7500 offers a new multimedia experience that goes far beyond traditional Blu-ray player.
Design
The Samsung BD-C7500 is a nice looking player measuring only 1.1 inches in height. This ultra-slim player has an elegant wood-like trim finished with jewel-like luster. Designed to be wall mounted, placed on a 25-degree angle to or just flat, it is easy to match with any home decor. The disc tray will open on the right side of the player.

The new GUI is a significant improvement over the previous Samsung player with a pictorial approach. You can even change the appearance of a choice of four skins. Samsung has also designed its new player with enhanced energy efficiency through the use of new technologies such as loaders duty control, low voltage spindle motor and to detect similar video that help leading to a lower power consumption of 13W during disc playback, and only 0.1 W in standby -by mode. The BD-C7500 has improved load on disc and start times, while the 1080p playback reproduces movie images at 24 fps without any up-conversion, which is a natural movement on the screen. It also comes with 1 GB of internal memory, access to BD-Live content easier.
On the audio front, the BD-C7500 comes with support for all high definition audio codecs like Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio.
