New DVI and Mini DisplayPort

Kanex today won a trio of graphics cards to hook up older computers with newer Apple Cinema Display as well as newer computer with the 30-inch Cinema Display. The C247m C247d and attach each mini-DVI and full-size DVI computers using the Mini DisplayPort connectors to the 24 – or 27-inch Cinema Display. Both add a USB port for audio pass through the camera and USB functionality like on Sony BDP-S470 Blu-ray Disc Player.

A third peripheral, the C30, works in reverse and is designed Mini DisplayPort Macs (or certain AMD Radeon HD 4000 cards) to attach to 30-inch display from Apple and other screens that a dual-link DVI port can need. He also has USB, but also the power of the adapter. Only the C30 is available now and costs $ 99. The C247 versions ship in November and will both cost $ 129.
