Best Buy announces Blink EV
ECOtality announced on Monday, its flash EV-charging stations for electric vehicles to install at 12 Best Buy stores in the U.S. by March. The company is done to collect data and see whether more charging stations will be installed like on Sony BDP-S470 Blu-ray Disc Player. The initial Chargers at locations in Tucson, Phoenix, Los Angeles, San Diego and Seattle will be installed.
The Chargers are coming especially for vehicles like the Chevy Volt Battery and Nissan Leaf, and all future vehicles use only. Owners of these can also charge their cars at home, but their new location, it is convenient.
Each flash charger uses 240 volts charger for faster times and sports a touch screen display. Ecotality estimates total loading time covered up between two and six hours. It will connect to the Internet and offer state of charge and driving history. Best Buy also said it will begin selling electric bicycles, scooters and a motorcycle in its stores.
