Jawbone Icon for Cisco
Jawbone Aliph headset manufacturer and Cisco have joined forces for a new Bluetooth headset, the Jawbone icon for Cisco. Based on the standard Jawbone icon, the device automatically, simultaneously with cell phones and Cisco Unified IP pair. From the headset, users can call either their desktop or mobile phone in a row.
The headset can be updated with software and get A2DP support for streaming audio and navigation instructions and Internet radio stations like on Panasonic TC-P50S2 Plasma HDTV. The firmware updates are available on Aliph mytalk.
The headset is now available in the U.S. and Canada in bundles, the Cisco Unified IP Phones 9951 and 9971, with international shipments are planned for October. Prices has not yet been revealed.
