Logitech Z623 Speaker System Review

Logitech surprised us with their ability to produce regular dirt cheap yet solid-sounding speakers. We can only imagine how thin their margins must be, heck, that’s probably why there are so few other players in this segment. Z623 but the quality of their latest offering, the speaker system, barely muster passports. It also makes us wonder what really value THX certification applies to the consumer at this price point.

The Z623 is a 2.1-channel system with a 200-watt amplifier that delivers 35 watts for each of the satellite speakers and 130 watts equipped with the sub. The satellites each have a single driver – a 2.5-inch aluminum dome with a phase plug – while the subwoofer is a seven-inch pressure driver uses with a bass port in his closet. Each of these titles were encoded in either 16 – or 24-bit with FLAC kHz sampling resolutions of either 44.1 or 48, and yet we were not able to listen to speakers in a near-field area for more than 20 minutes before our ears felt tired. The problem is the driver and the amplifier connected because we are a much better listening experience with B&W-P5 headphones plugged enjoyed satellite.

The Z623′s low price tag, with good performance films and games combined saves his bacon. If you are looking for cheap speakers to play music, but we think Logitech Z250 speakers are a far better value.
