BOSE 301-V Stereo Loudspeakers (Pair) Cherry Review
Speaker Placement
Before buying speakers, try to imagine where you’re going to put them in his room. Speakers can be placed on floor stands, hung on wall brackets, or placed on furniture. Subwoofers typically sound best in room corners or near the left or right front speakers.
The front three – left, center and right – speakers usually best when the sound is positioned with the tweeters elevated to the same height as a seated listener ears. In any case, try to keep the center speaker near the same height as the left and right speakers.
You can place speakers on shelves or in / in a low cabinet or entertainment center. Some speakers are better suited to this arrangement than others. ”Acoustic suspension” sealed satellites are the most appropriate. Next best ported speakers – as long as the ports are located on the front panel. However, speakers with rear ports will not perform at their peak when placed inside the furniture.
As for the surround back channel, they are usually best when the sound is positioned three or more feet higher than the front speakers. Nevertheless, high-quality DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD music will sound best when surround speakers are the same height (ear level) as the front speakers.

User opinions
Bose – 301 V – so mine is not accurate on the screen. My original Bose 301 did back in the early 80 ‘s. That’s true. My Bose 301 are at least 25 years and still his feet!
For small “bookshelf” size, they fit almost anywhere and projects the sound around the world. In my stereo system, I use the word bass center speaker and 4 surround speakers. I do not have that much space. I use 4 Bose 301 for that surround sound effect.
Many years ago, I used 2 301 Bose on his back a couple of large speakers Pioneer’s portable workstations DJ. If it was a big room, I used 2 large Pioneer speakers front and then stretched the wire to 2 Bose 301 at the rear of the room. Once I made a portable DJ performance at a high school gym with just 50 watts per channel! Of course, I used a graphic equalizer, but still …only 50 watts per channel.
You do not need “Super System”, to include them in any. Everything from 10 watts all up to 150 watts will work. To say that these speakers have stood the test of time would be gross understatement. A rare 5 stars from me.
