Dell confirms Mini 5 using AT&T, to get Android Market apps

New information on the mini-tablet 5 smartphone from Dell was posted on Friday revealed by a detailed interview. Speaking in an article published Thursday, Neeraj Choubey, General Manager of tablets in Communications Solutions Group, Dell, laptop, said the company is working with AT & T offers the Mini-5 to the customer. Choubey also show users access to Android Market, just like a conventional Android-powered smarpthone. The tablet is otherwise unique in that it has a front-facing webcam, it is for video calling. Choubey sees the mini-5 comfortably eliminate the need for other portable electronic devices such as navigation systems, mobile phones, MIDs and small video cameras.

The Mini-5 have access to Google mobile services like Gmail and Google Maps. Choubey expected that all Android Marketplace applications are compatible with your device. While he paused to confirm flash support will be built, Choubey said Dell is working with Adobe on bringing Flash support, because he believes customers require this feature.

Dell is also reported working on a service that customers buy the apps can be even be able to access it on several Dell equipment.

Choubey also affect what he believes is the main difference between Apple and Dell iPad Mini 5, and this is true portability due to the mini-friendly form factor in this context.

The Mini-5, that ships to customers and their user-friendly interface for Android-optimized to the device “users will have to use something,” Choubey said.
