Sony announces DRX-S70U-W CD/DVD burner

Many netbook users agree that a major weakness in the small and portable computer systems is that optical drives are missing. The lack of an optical drive is most obvious for many business users, who are still often data on CD or DVD. Sony has announced a new slim external USB CD burner, called DRX-S70U-W, designed specifically for notebook and netbook users.
The burner is a small, sleek device that seemingly run entirely by the USB port of your computer. The drive can burn 8X DVD + -R, DVD + -R dual-layer media, DVD + RW and CD-R RW media, all at fast speeds.
Sony is also bundling the drive with Nero DVD CD mastering software suite. The thin end of October at the burner is available online and sold in specialty shops. Be the DRX-S70U-W available in white or black colors.
