Panasonic unveils Class 10 SDHC cards

Panasonic unveils Class 10 SDHC cardsIt’s been a while since we’ve seen all the major developments in the SDHC cards. We are stuck with Class 6 cards up to 32 GB for a while now. It was not a problem for everyone, they were not terribly slow, unless you use the card in a digital camera and try to select multiple pictures per second. This is not a problem now with the new Panasonic SDHC cards.

Panasonic, the latest gold line cards are Class 10 speed, up to 32 GB. Class 10 means they have a high transmission speed of 22 MB per second. This is much faster than Class 4, has 4 MB per second and Class 5, which at 6 MB per second. The cards are designed for digital SLR cameras and HD cameras, which will surely use the faster speed.

The cards can also be useful for all, a Netbook. Almost all Netbook is capable of using SDHC cards. In the case of the Aspire One, it is even in the situation with two, one of which is inserted into the disk. Faster cards for these machines are always welcome. It would cover all issues with playback of media files from the card, or in running a whole operating system because some of them are known to do. It would have been nice to see the Gold Line, or even up to 64 GB for the sake of Netbook, but 32 GB is still a respectable amount of storage.

The line is expected to sell in June, the prices will be announced later.
