Pubs start disabling TTS on Kindle books

The Kindle 2 was introduced, a few months back and with him came a new text-to-speech function is not new in general, but new to the Kindle. Unfortunately, this function with the Author’s Guild, which quickly some concerns, even going as far as he wanted to say that they are removed. On the basis of these complaints, Amazon made some changes and began the publisher or author, to decide whether the text-to-speech, it would be possible.

Fast forward to today, and it seems that Random House has started to Amazon on their offer. So far, they have disabled the text-to-speech to more than 40 titles, the books of Toni Morrison and Stephen King.

This feature has apparently been quietly deactivated for this title. In other words, nothing has been officially opened by Random House. Of course, now that the deactivation door opens, I wonder which other authors and publishers will follow.
