Danielle Steel Reader from Sony – Limited Edition

It turns out yesterday was the big day for the eBook reader. Well maybe not big in terms of importance, but in view of the large and newly unveiled Kindle DX is now larger in size and price. Of course, we can not forget that in addition to their Amazon Kindle and we also have some other company with the eBook reader on the market, one of which is Sony.

It turns out that in an announcement, which is entirely in black, Sony is presenting its latest Limited Edition Reader. This time it’s a Danielle Steel Edition – a special red-colored Reader, with a red leather with Danielle Steel names embossed on the bottom right corner as well as three books and a personal letter from Danielle Steel.

Sounds like a good deal for a Danielle Steel fan, but if I understand it, is a favorite author I can not help but question whether a limited edition reader is really needed. Basically, this seems just like Sony is trying to compete on the ebook space, but it seems as if they are not really much in terms of an A-game.
