MSI shows off the CS120 ‘Nettop’
If you’ve always longed for a Netbook, but do not want to deal with all that pesky “portability,” MSI is hoped, a preference for the CS120 “Nettop computer. It is similar to that covered by the fullness of the currently available Netbook – 1.6 GHz Intel Atom CPU, 1GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive – but you are not in the saddle to 1024 600 resolution, and this guy has a built in DVD – Burn – Slot-drive.
The CS120 would be at home next to your TV and the Wi-Fi with the virtually silent operation, and the DVD drive could very well replace at least your DVD player at the same time, some streaming video for the fun mix.
Other features are two front-mounted USB ports, a front-mounted 4-in-1 card reader, four USB ports on the back, VGA output, Ethernet, 7.1 audio and Windows XP. Make sure your TV has a VGA input, because MSI says on the bottom of the page “The VGA port can not be converted into DVI or HDMI through any adapter”.
