Amazon introduces Kindle app for iPhone

Amazon has rolled its Kindle APP for the iPhone and iPod Touch. The application allows users to read books on the Kindle device. You can use the books on your computer and send them to your iPhone or Touch via Wi-Fi, or via the device itself. If you are a Kindle owner, you can buy all your books for free. The iPhone supports the Kindle’s Whispersync service, so you can from a book on the device to read it on your Kindle without your seat.

Kindle to the iPhone is expected that the two existing Google and iPhone e-reader as a serious Stanza run for their money now that the iPhone users have access to the Amazon library of more than 240,000 titles – and this number is growing daily . Kindle for iPhone requires an iPhone or iPod Touch with 2.1 software update is available free from the App Store.

During the unveiling Kindle 2, the staff pointed out that Amazon Kindle books would be with several other devices than Kindle. Do not be surprised to see Kindle applications for Palm and blackberries as soon as they app stores pounce.
