Samsung Blue Earth solar-powered phone

Samsung is first out the blocks with another innovative mobile phone – the Blue Earth. The handset is propagated, the first solar-powered full-touchscreen device from the Korean consumer electronics giant, and is in line with the company’s vision for environmental sustainability. It will operate under the motto: “The Blue Earth Dream: Eco-living with Samsung Mobile,” and shows the world, Samsung reinforces its commitment to protecting the environment on the design of eco-products and an appropriate program of activities for a large customer available. Needless to say that all things mobile phone will take on the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona, Spain, next week will happen.

Blue Earth was designed to symbolize a flat and round shiny gravel, even if we question the feasibility and desirability of such a construction. Blue Earth is also propagated to the first solar-powered full-touchscreen mobile phone in the world where the solar panel is located directly behind the listener for the user to generate enough juice for the conduct that the emergency call or send an SMS message if ing an outlet in sight. We guess this is a beginning of an era, where outdoor-loving people is not the tons of spare batteries, but their cell phones to bask under the sun during the day to load, while it employs the storage facility or the hunt for some game.

To enhance its credibility green, blue of the earth is made of recycled plastic as a PCM that is actually out of the water in bottles is an attempt to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions during the manufacturing process. Both the device and the charger are free from harmful substances such as Brominated flame retardants, beryllium and phthalates. Unfortunately, we have no idea what the performance, as well as other features, but think we can find in the next week MWC.
